The LRC has joined Student Services team and other teams in welcoming and introducing our new students to WAI at the Orientation sessions and Fair. It was good to see students' enthusiasm and eagerness to become active members of the WAI Community.
The committment to learning in the new students was quite infectious, as they are coming into the LRC to search for resources. The LRC seemed to be a hit with FREE TAFE COURSES students as we ssidted those students in accessing their courses on Moodle.
During the NAIDOC WEEK, the LRC launched an Indigenous Australia libguide for the WAI Students to gain some knowledge about the cultures of our Australian Aboriginals and Torres Strait Islanders.
WAI Students and Staff can now have quick access to some essential LRC Information in MyWAI via My LRC(Library). For a comprehensive information about the LRC services as well as searching for resources, drop by our Homepage for a visit.
The LRC is always a hub of activities, and we are looking forward to meeting and assisting staff and students throughout the year.
