"If we knew what it was we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?" - Albert Einstein

Research needs and requirements can vary with each assignment, task or project. There is no “correct” way to carry out a research, however, there are certain methods and skills can help to make your research process more efficient and effective.

If you have questions or can’t find what you’re looking for, ask your librarian. You can see the Learning Advisors for more help on your assignments.

Use this guide to gain some helpful tips on how to improve your research skills. Choose your topic from the drop down menu list to learn about the topics.
