APA Training for your students
Please contact your Liaison Librarians to book Referencing training sessions for your students.
There are LRC induction tours offered for either new or existing staff who want a refresher. This tour is an introduction to the LRC facilities and what services are available to WAI staff and especially teaching staff.
Some of the services that LRC offers are: Document delivery (Interlibrary Loans), Copyright queries, purchasing new resources on request.
The LRC can assist teaching staff either in the LRC or in your classrooms with training in Library Orientation, Research skills and Databases, EndNoteX8 and Referencing Skills. If you are interested in assisting your students, please contact us and book them in for a session!

LRC Training Room is available for teaching staff to book for teaching/training /assessment purposes. The Training Room can be booked either on the day if the room is available, or in advance.
To book, staff can contact your Department Liaison Librarians or at the LRC Service Desk, 9606 2237.
NOTE: There is no printing attached to the Training Room computers.
There are 4 portable projectors available for one day loan. These can be booked for up to one week ahead. Care should be taken with the projectors as the bulbs are especially fragile and expensive to replace.
Three (3) Lenono ThinkPad laptops are available for one week loan. Laptops are loaded with Windows 7, Outlook, Office 2010, Lync 2010 & IE10. These can be booked for up to one week ahead.
