LRC subject guides - What are they?

Subject guides are lists of resources created by librarians to assist students with their research needs. These list of resources may include topics including but not limited to books, journals, databases, websites, as well as any other topics the librarian feels would assist students and staff with their research and happenings in the LRC.

The LRC subject guides were produced for the following areas:  Baking & Patisserie; Culinary Arts; Hospitality; Tourism and Events ; EndNote and Referencing ; Journals@angliss ; APA Referencing; Research and Learning skills. The guides can be found on LRC homepage under Services for students tab. 

Multimedia Pod

The multimedia pod is available for students to use either individually or as a group. It is equipped with a PC and multimedia software.

Bookings for the pod is self managed through MyPC computer booking system.

New Self-checkout Terminal - Borrow and renew resources

Items can now be borrowed and renewed via our self-checkout kiosk. Loans can be extended on or before the due date for a maximum of two times. LRC users can extend their loans from their LRC account or alternatively they can visit the LRC service desk, email or telephone.

Items will not be renewed if:

· They are overdue

· You have fines of $10.00 or more

· You have reached the item renewal limit

· Items have been placed on hold by another borrower
